Sahar is bringing her ‘laughter yoga’ therapy class to the UAE from Wednesday, May 16 - commemorating World Laughter Day, which was yesterday.
Laughter yoga combines unconditional laughter with yogic breathing (pranayama), destressing the body and giving it a physiological and psychological boost.
“Learn to define what happiness to you is and adopt the habit of humour,” said Sahar. “Laughter can not only improve health but bring new perspective, renew self-esteem and provide a sense of empowerment overall. It can help reduce the level of stress and anxiety.”
The sessions will be held every Wednesday from 7.15pm to 8.15pm at DUCTAC, Mall of the Emirates.
