The intermittent showers caused a drop in temperature and led to the overflow of gorges and valleys in mountainous areas of Massafi, Safni and Al Siji. Rain water flooded farms and low-lying areas. Moderate to heavy rain was also reported in the southern parts of Ras Al Khaimah.
